The Tongariro National Park is also worth a visit. Attractions at the park include - Ruapehu, Tongariro & Ngauruhoe, three of New Zealand’s active volcanic mountains, a beautiful rain forest and outdoor activities including mountain-biking, horse-trekking, rafting, hunting and game-fishing.
